Hello All,

  Please be reminded that the June regular membership meeting is scheduled
for tomorrow evening, (Thursday, June 14th), at 7:00 P.M., at the Port
City Café and Pub. The Agenda for the meeting, as well as the Minutes
from our May meetings, are posted on the Club website
(www.7nationscelticclub.org). In accordance with Club policy, I will
only have a limited number of “hard copy” documents at the meeting, so
please check out the website for this information. Thanks.

  In response to member requests for more detailed information regarding
the 7 Nations, I have also prepared a map and narrative statement.
Thanks to Billy McClurg, a large scale copy of the map has been placed
on the website. I have also attached, to this email, a smaller version
for your use. I hope this addresses the original membership questions.
Also, in accordance with member suggestions, I would be happy to take a
few minutes after the meeting to talk about this with those who are
interested. This is consistent with the “educational” aspect of our Club
mission. If there is anything any of you wish to share along these
lines, we could make this didactic element a regular part of our
meetings; however, that will depend upon your willingness to do some
research and prepare a presentation. I can speak to Ireland’s history,
culture, etc,, however, I do not know much about the other 6 Nations.
Any volunteers?

  Also, thanks to Nicole Sinclair for reminding me of my obligation, as
Club President, to perform a “tick check” immediately following the
meeting. I expect her to be at the head of the line!
